Morddrohungen: Amal braucht Rundumschutz
Clooneys lassen Anwesen rund um die Uhr bewachen & wagen sich nur mit Bodyguards raus.
George und
haben drastische Maßnahmen vorgenommen, um ihr mehr als zehn Millionen teures Anwesen im englischen Berkshire zu schützen. Dieses ist derzeit dauerhaft von Bodyguards bewacht. Selbst ein knapp 300 Meter weit entferntes Restaurant besuchen die Clooneys nur mit Sicherheitsleuten. Die Drohungen stehen vermutlich im Zusammenhang mit Amals derzeitigem Fall, in dem sie den ehemaligen Präsidenten der Malediven, Mohamed Nasheed, verteidigt.
Amal Clooney lebt gefährlich
Paul Harrison, Stadtrat von South Oxfordshire, der die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen der Clooney-Villa absegnen musste, erzählte im Interview: "Die Security ist nicht für ihn, sondern für sie. George nimmt ihre Arbeit als Anwältin auf höchster Ebene und die Todesdrohungen, die sie erhält, sehr ernst."

Dem britischen Magazin 'Grazia' verriet ein Insider in der Sache: "George macht sich selbstverständlich Sorgen, dass es Menschen gibt, die Amal etwas antun oder sie zumindest einschüchtern wollen. Sie ist eine großartige Frau mit viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit kontroversen Fällen, aber diese Drohungen müssen ernst genommen werden. George größte Angst ist es, dass Amal etwas zustößt. Keiner von den beiden will ein Risiko eingehen."
