Wo man für sein Bier am längsten schuften muss

Inder müssen gut 50 Minuten arbeiten, um sich eine Halbe Bier leisten zu können. US-Amerikaner hingegen nur fünf.
UBS-Analysten haben errechnet, wo man am längsten arbeiten muss, um sich einen halben Liter Bier leisten zu können.

Nach wie vielen Arbeitsminuten hat man sich ein Bier verdient - und zwar im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes? Mit dieser Frage haben sich Analysten der Schweizer Großbank UBS beschäftigt und aus Daten von 150 Ländern eine Art "Welt-Bier-Index" erstellt. Als Basis dienten das durchschnittliche Pro-Kopf-Einkommen und der Einzelhandelspreis für 0,5 Liter Bier im jeweiligen Land (siehe Grafik unten).

Ergebnis: Am längsten muss man für einen halben Liter Bier in Indien arbeiten, am kürzesten in den USA.
