Was für ein Krimi bot sich den Fans am Mittwoch in Wimbledon: Der Schweizer Alt- und Großmeister Roger Federer (34) konnte nach 0:2-Satzrückstand und der heldenhaften Abwehr dreier Matchbälle gegen den Kroaten Marin Cilic (27) zum elften Mal in seiner Karriere das Halbfinale im Londoner "Mekka des weißen Sports" erreichen.

Im Publikum viele Prominente, die bei dem spannenden Duell in der VIP-Box des Siegers mitfieberten: Neben der Fußball- und Style-Ikone David Beckham (41), der seine Söhne Cruz (11) und Romeo (13) im Schlepptau hatte, oder der US-Vogue-Chefin Anna Wintour (66) saß auch Hollywood-Star Bradley Cooper (41) auf den besten Plätzen.
