Moby: Neues Album als Gratis-Download

Der US-amerikanische Musiker und Star-DJ hat am Montag (Ortszeit) überraschend ein neues Album als kostenlosen Download veröffentlicht. "More Fast Songs About The Apocalypse" ist Mobys 14. Studioalbum und das zweite Projekt mit dem Void Pacific Choir nach "These Systems are Failing", das 2016 erschienen ist.

Richard Melville Hall, wie Moby mit bürgerlichem Namen heißt, kündigte das Album mit einer falschen Presseaussendung "von John Miller" an - jenem fiktiven Pressesprecher, den Donald Trump in den 80er-Jahren erfand, um mit Journalisten zu telefonieren. Moby hatte im Wahlkampf Hillary Clinton unterstützt und Trump nach der Wahl einen "Rassisten und Frauenhasser" genannt, der der "schlimmste Präsident" sein werde, "den unser Land je gesehen hat".
