Zug entgleiste offenbar wegen eins umgestürzten Baums.
Bei einem Zugsunglück im Norden des US-Staats Kalifornien sind am Montag 14 Menschen verletzt worden. Laut Feuerwehr entgleiste in der Ortschaft Sunol ein Pendlerzug. Ein Waggon stürzte in einen kleinen Fluss. Zehn Menschen seien leicht verletzt worden, vier weitere schwer, aber nicht lebensbedrohlich.
Laut Medienberichten waren in dem Zug insgesamt 214 Menschen unterwegs. Sie seien alle geborgen worden. Die Unglücksursache war demnach ein umgestürzter Baum auf den Gleisen.
