Bei einem Großbrand in einem Moskauer Einkaufszentrum sind am Montag 14 Menschen verletzt worden. Vier von ihnen schwebten in Lebensgefahr, wie Vize-Bürgermeister Piotr Biriukow der Nachrichtenagentur Interfax sagte. Mehrere tausend Besucher des Rio-Einkaufszentrums im Nordosten der russischen Hauptstadt mussten in Sicherheit gebracht werden.

Mehr als 200 Feuerwehrleute waren im Einsatz, um die Flammen zu löschen. Der Brand sei inzwischen vollständig unter Kontrolle, sagte Biriukow. Die Ursache des Unglücks blieb zunächst unklar.
