Mindestens 47 Tote. Tausende Nepalesen obdachlos.
Bei schweren Unwettern in Nepal sind mindestens 47 Menschen ums Leben gekommen. 20 Menschen seien verletzt und Tausende obdachlos geworden, teilte das Innenministerium am Sonntag mit. 8.000 Polizisten und Soldaten waren im Einsatz. Vorausgegangen war schwerer Monsunregen, der die Flüsse anschwellen ließ. Der Himalaya-Staat wird häufig von Naturkatastrophen heimgesucht.

Floods and landslides caused by torrential monsoon rains have killed at least 25 people in the last two days across Nepal, officials said on August 12.
