William und Kate mögen Lasagne.

Jahrelang hat er die britischen Royals bekocht, jetzt erzählt Darren McGrady aus seiner Zeit am Königshof. Dabei gerät der Starkoch von seinen Arbeitgebern fast ins Schwärmen.

Nur etwas zu langweilig seien Prinz William (33) und Herzogin Kate (34) ihm beinahe schon: "Wenn ich etwas an William und Catherine auszusetzen hätte, dann, dass sie zu normal sind." Das strenge Protokoll wurde nur eingehalten, wenn sich Queen Elizabeth II. (90) zum Essen angesagt hatte.

Nur dann musste er sich verneigen, Spalier stehen und durfte nicht reden, außer wenn er angesprochen wurde.

Lasagne, Würstel und Risotto

Die Lieblingsspeisen von Will und Kate wurden schon zu ihrer Hochzeit publik. William ist ein großer Fan von Risotto und beide stehen auf Würstel mit Kortoffelpüree.

Sensibler Magen

Auch Lasagne und Burger kommen regelmäßig auf den Tisch, nur bei scharfen Gerichten streikt der sensible Magen des Prinzen. William hat offenbar einen leichten Reizmagen und verträgt scharfe Gewürze nicht gut. Während ihrer Indie-Reise musste der Prinz daher genau darauf achten, was er zu sich nimmt.

Die Köche der offiziellen Abenddinner wurden angeblich schon vorab über Williams kleines Verdauungsproblem informiert.
